Five Bridges Wilderness Heritage Trust
Five Bridges Wilderness Heritage Trust is a registered Canadian charity that acts as steward for 8,600 hectares of public wilderness lands on the Chebucto Peninsula known as the Five Bridge Lakes Wilderness Area.
A favourite nature retreat for hikers, bikers, ATVers, photographers, and paddlers, the area provides an escape from modern life in the surrounding urban communities of Halifax Regional Municipality. Supported through the work of volunteers and the financial contributions of members and donors, the trust maintains and improves trails and signage, hosts public education events, and cultivates safe and sustainable enjoyment of nature through its stewardship of this wilderness area.
New members are always welcome.
