Hubbards Area Lions Club

The Hubbards Area Lions Club, which has its clubhouse at 21 Lions Club Road in Fox Point, is a gathering place for the local community, from Black Point through to East River, and including the Aspotogan Loop.

Social events at the club include weekly Forty-Fives on Monday evenings, cribbage on Tuesdays, and bingo on Thursdays, from May through October. With monthly seniors’ luncheons and pancake breakfasts, as well as special events throughout the year, there are many opportunities for local residents of all ages to come together over a meal or a game.

The Hubbards Lions Club also provides Christmas hampers for local families in need, weekend food support for students through its Backpack Buddies program, and medical equipment on loan through the Hospital Equipment Loan Program (H.E.L.P).

During emergencies, the club is open to the general public as a registered comfort centre.
