Head of St. Margaret’s Bay/Boutilier’s Point Recreation Association
The Head of St. Margaret’s Bay/Boutilier’s Point Recreation Association (HBBPRA) was formed approximately 25 years ago by merging the Head of St. Margaret’s Bay Recreation Association, which was formed in 1967, with the Boutilier’s Point Family Recreation Association, which has roots going back to 1953.
A registered charity, the organization owns and operates the Boutilier’s Point outdoor rink as well as operating the Bay Community Centre in Head of St. Margarets Bay, home of Unicorn Theatre.
The HBBPRA is an umbrella group that fosters recreational activities for young people in St. Margaret’s Bay and the surrounding area. Over the years, the organization has offered hockey, fastball, canoeing, lacrosse, soccer, track and field, and playgrounds, as well as sponsoring Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Bay Day Canada Day celebrations, and many more activities.
